Elisa Lopez Lucia is an associate professor at the Centre for research in international politics (REPI) at the Political Science Department of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Her work focuses on regional security practices and discourses in West Africa, the construction of regions, and interregional relations between the EU and African regional organisations. Theoretically she draws on international political sociology, and political and critical geography.
