NAVIGATOR publishes a new report and 7 working papers

We are proud to share the first major research outputs from the NAVIGATOR project. Our team has been working intensively to map the EU’s approach to multilateral cooperation across key global challenges. We have recently published:

  • A first forecasting report, outlining future trajectories for multilateralism and the EU’s role within it (Alberto Tagliapietra)
  • Seven thematic working papers, diving into the following policy areas:
The End of Multilateralism as we know it? Assessing Current Trends in International Security (Malte Brosig, John Karlsrud, Cristiana Maglia, Yf Reykers)
Mapping the Migration Governance Arena (Chloé Brière)
The Institutional Landscape of Global Health Governance: The Role of Team Europe (Alexander Kentikelenis, Leonard Seabrooke)
The Institutional Landscape of Global Digitalisation Governance (Lars Gjesvik, Eneken Tikk)
Mapping the Governance of Financial Flows: Institutions, Networks and Implications for the Climate Action (Olga Mikheeva, Eleni Tsingou)
Global Governance of Carbon Pricing (Daniel Muth, Mathieu Blondeel, Philipp Pattberg)
Regional Organizations, Global Governance, and the EU (Ole Jacob Sending, Malte Brosig, Hans Jørgen Gåsemyr, Piki Ish-Shalom, John Karlsrud, Cristiana Maglia, Elisa Lopez Lucia)

These reports provide analysis and recommendations for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners looking to understand and shape the EU’s multilateral engagement.
