On 7 March, the NAVIGATOR partners met for the project kick-off in Oslo, Norway. This was the first meeting for the consortium after the project started on 1 March this year. 10 partners, from Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, and South Africa met up to familiarize themselves with each other. Presentations were made on methodological, technical, logistical and communication issues to prepare the ground for four years of strong cooperation. The partners also discussed the deliverables and milestones set for the first year of implementation. The participants also had the chance to meet virtually with two of the sister projects funded under the same call – HRjust and REMIT. All in all, it was a very productive and inspiring meeting that gave the participants renewed impetus to get going with the work in the project.

First steps were also taken to prepare for the NAVIGATOR methodology workshop, slotted for 11-12 September 2023, that will enable all the partners to approach the case studies of the project in a coherent fashion.
